Engineering manager and client solutions architect for the embedded finance delivery team serving a Global Systemically Important Bank (GSIB). Act as client liaison — gathering and translating requirements and providing input to 10+ product and technology teams — and manage engineers at junior, senior, and principal levels, including the sub-team leads who manage them, alongside local talent development and recruiting for Galatea's Tampa office. Previously served as lead design authority for the embedded finance technology stack enabling FDIC-insured accounts, payments, KYC, and compliance integrations, and defined the REST API standards adopted across product lines to improve developer experience and implementation consistency. Led the migration of two key enterprise clients from a legacy payments platform to the new embedded finance solution, enabling platform decommissioning and saving $2M+ monthly, and facilitated onboarding for two major marketplaces resulting in 200k+ new accounts. Shaped a 2-year roadmap for a solution targeting $300M+ in revenue over the next five years, and enabled data lake analytics by defining Kafka-based communication patterns and domain-driven data models across the stack. Responsible for contract renewal, extension, and sales on consulting engagements worth as much as $3.5M over 18 months.

Designed system architecture for embedded banking — payments, ledgering, debit cards, KYC, AML, and fraud detection — supporting a team of 100+ developers. Led development of the React-based Hosted UI for clients to onboard and manage accounts securely, pioneering integration with a new internal identity provider. Built a KYC onboarding application with a 2-minute STP SLA using Java Spring Boot, Oracle, Kafka, and Kubernetes, and defined the payment rail data flows behind traditional, card, and digital payments.

Developed a suite of four Java Spring microservices delivering twice-daily investment reports for hedge fund clients across hundreds of accounts, reducing report runtime from 1 hour to 10 minutes through orchestration, workload sharding, and a memory optimization that cut the microservice footprint by 80%. Built a high-throughput (1M+ daily) distributed message processor for holdings valuation using AMPS pub-sub, Hazelcast, and Protobuf, and shipped features for low-latency inventory reporting APIs used by risk and financing desks across 1M+ positions.

Delivered critical solutions for the Bankway multi-function banking application, resolving 20+ client issues including 5 critical client care cases. Redesigned 15 widgets to visually depict more than 30 data types, and developed an internal release management tool in C# .NET that cut release time from 4 weeks to 2.
